Practical workshops at our venue in Acton Park for small groups of children and young people
aged 5-18 years.

We have an experienced specialist team of workshop leaders and all our staff hold DBS certificates.

A.P.P.L.E. has comprehensive insurance and all workshops are risk assessed.

We follow strict safeguarding policies and procedures.
For Schools
Our workshops are aimed at students who would benefit from out of school activities. For example:

Recognising students who have worked exceptionally hard or improved their behaviour and/or learning

Students who find school challenging and who would benefit from out of classroom learning.

Stretch/challenge activities that push curriculum topics further

To provide activities for students otherwise unable to attend school trips
For Youth Groups
Our workshops can offer something a bit different ...
workshops at the art block in acton park
These workshops are for small groups of up to 8 participants.
​
We run 2 hour morning or afternoon workshop sessions.
These sessions offer art, IT animation, construction or cooking and growing workshops with our specialist artists, designers and food tech staff to provide:

Outdoor space for large scale projects and projects relating to the natural environment

Work with challenging equipment, materials and techniques. For example, our outdoor wood burning oven, jesmonite modelling material, power tools.

A high ratio of staff providing the opportunity for children and young people to take part in challenging activities.
