Workshops  at  the  art  block

Practical workshops at our venue in Acton Park for small groups of children and young people

aged 5-18 years.

  • We have an experienced specialist team of workshop leaders and all our staff hold DBS certificates.

  • A.P.P.L.E. has comprehensive insurance and all workshops are risk assessed.

  • We follow strict safeguarding policies and procedures.

For Schools

Our workshops are aimed at students who would benefit from out of school activities. For example:

  • Recognising students who have worked exceptionally hard or improved their behaviour and/or learning

  • Students who find school challenging and who would benefit from out of classroom learning.

  • Stretch/challenge activities that push curriculum topics further

  • To provide activities for students otherwise unable to attend school trips

For Youth Groups

Our workshops can offer something a bit different ...

Building go-karts
workshops  at  the  art  block  in  acton  park

These workshops are for small groups of up to 8 participants.

These sessions offer art, IT animation, construction or cooking and growing workshops with our specialist artists, designers and food tech staff to provide:

  • Outdoor space for large scale projects and projects relating to the natural environment

  • Work with challenging equipment, materials and techniques. For example, our outdoor wood burning oven, jesmonite modelling material, power tools.

  • A high ratio of staff providing the opportunity for children and young people to take part in challenging activities.
