gardening at a.p.p.l.e.
Thursday during term time we run Cooking and Gardening Club for 16 year 5/6 children from East Acton Primary School. They are the core team who provide A.P.P.L.E with fresh produce. Nicola, and Jake lead the gardening introducing children and young people to home grown fruit and veg. During the summer months there are lots of opportunities for all the children and young people to get involved in gardening.

Our CROWDFUNDING project to re-landscape our gardens at the ARTBLOCK ran through May and June 2018. We sucessfully raised £22,177.
The gardens were re-landscaped and up and running by the summer holidays thanks to the hard work of the staff, children and young people with big thanks you to The Shed ( landscaping company) and LB Ealing Parks for their outstanding work.
The gardening project is closely linked to our cooking club and the Healthy Eating programme.
